The main characteristics of the portal laser are also its precision, ease of use, and the extensive possibilities that it offers. The main difference, in comparison to the models with a closed-table construction, is the available work surface; the closed CO2 lasers are limited to a maximum table size of 100x160cm, whilst the portal machines can process workpieces up to a size of 150x300cm.
The most relevant question here would be: do I actually require a table size of 130x250cm for my application? If so, the below listed models are suitable for your needs.
The most appropriate machine should be selected based on the types of material to be processed as well as the overall size and thickness of the materials. At BRM, we have opted to include the maximum dimensions of the machine’s work surface into the respective model’s name. Based on our market experience, we have also opted to produce our machines with standard capacities.
Here below you can find an overview of the different models. For more information on a specific model and its accessories, you can click on the indicated “Details” link to be forwarded to the machine’s dedicated page.
